We take a more laid back feel to this herbal infused episode and kickback with a longform discussion with the man that High Times referred to as the rising star of cannabis comedy.

The Soapbox Rant returns to pick a bone with the Golden Globes and the instance of turning ceremony into a social-political platform.

Josh goes Digging Up The Docs, and talks government cover-ups and the MK Ultra program in Errol Morris' latest genre-bending work, Wormwood (2017).

Mitch seeks redemption in The Hate Debate and builds a defense for Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich's blockbuster sci-fi action adventure, Stargate (1994).

This Week in Torrents, Josh digs up the rarely shown (and strangest) Rankin/Bass animated holiday short, The Leprechauns' Christmas Gold (1981).

In another edition of The Hate Debate, Mitch declares Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) a masterpiece of family entertainment while Josh channels his inner Grinch and attempts to ruin Christmas.

The Mailbag speaks of Cary Grant and ponders a female equivalent for The Guzman Bump. Recycled Cinema takes a look at 1947's holiday classic, The Bishop's Wife and Penny Marshall's all-black update, The Preacher's Wife (1996), starring the late Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington in the place of the ever-charming Cary Grant.

Josh spreads some holiday cheer, This Week in Torrents, and digs up the hard to find special, John Denver and The Muppets: A ChristmasTogether (1979).

In another edition of The Hate Debate, Josh argues for the holiday merits of Gremlins (1984) as Mitch fights for its superior sequel.

Slipping Through the Tracks returns after a lengthy hiatus as Josh highlights the work of Steven Price and Basement Jaxx on Joe Cornish's Attack the Block (2011). Akira Kurosawa transplants Shakespeare's Hamlet to the corrupt Post-war corporate world in The Bad Sleep Well (1960) as part of another edition of Where in the World Cinema?

Soapbox Seconds adds to last week's discussion and speaks of the cinematic pedigree of Meet the Applegates (1990).

The Mailbag sifts through some long neglected reader mail and delivers a continental shout out. This Week in Torrents, despite its' more recent negative attention, Josh highlights a shining example of Rick and Morty fandom with The Delicious Taste of Ice Cream.

Diggin' Up the Docs finds both Mitch and Josh captivated by the life and career of Steven Spielberg in Susan Lacy's refreshingly candid career retrospective, appropriately titled Spielberg (2017).

Recycled Cinema points its historical lens at Alexander Mackendrick's classic UK "Comedy of Errors", The Ladykillers (1955), starring the great Alec Guinness and Peter Sellers, and then compares and contrasts with the curious career misfire that is Joel and Ethan Coen's Americanized screwball retread of The Ladykillers (2004) led by a scenery stealing Tom Hanks.
