Episode 37: The Fifth Element of Adele Blanc-Sec

A Lesson on Besson!

This week, Faults in the Vaults imports its entertainment straight from the mind of popular French filmmaker, Luc Besson, as we extinguish The Fifth Element (1997) in order to breathe new life into The Extraordinary Adventures of Adele Blanc-Sec (2010)!

A visit to The Mailbag has Mitch & Josh recapping social media love and the new horror anthology, Holidays (2016). This Week in Torrents has Josh offering up his personal restoration of a rare and forgotten documentary, Screamin' Jay Hawkins: I Put A Spell On Me (2001) by the late documentarian, Nicholas Triandafyllidis.

Josh visits the local multiplex in order to go Diggin' Up The Docs with Jim Jarmusch's new Stooges retrospective, Gimme Danger (2016). The Soapbox Rant points a finger at those who proclaim foreign film elitism.

Also in this episode, great new holiday deals from the good people at Raleigh Soapery, post-birthday shenanigans, more celebrity elbow-rubbing, and Boglins galore!
