Episode 35: The Thing Snatchers

Classic Horror Remakes!

This week, the aliens are back again in Faults in the Vaults, so we're torching John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) for the greater good in order to make way for Philip Kaufman's adaptation of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978).

This Week in Torrents details the origins and brief history of laserdisc video games --- which incorporated pre-recorded live-action video or animation --- such as Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, and Cliff Hanger!

Title imageJosh takes a turn Slipping Through the Tracks to highlight the Ragtime renaissance and the work of Marvin Hamlisch as he reinterprets the music of Scott Joplin on the classic caper film, The Sting (1973)! Also in this episode, new holiday deals from the good people at Raleigh Soapery, Halloween recaps, more interactions with comedy icons, and further talk of bad theater etiquette...
